Russell recently moved to the Eugene area after spending the last ten years in Boise, Idaho.
Russell completed his 200 HR teacher training through Shanti Yoga School, and earned the majority of his hours at Yoga for Wellness, a studio that specializes in Viniyoga and Yoga Nidra.
Outside of the studio Russell is an avid reader, weight lifting enthusiast, and Jiu-Jitsu practitioner.
The most significant thing I’ve learned through my practice is how yoga can have a positive impact on everyone, regardless of their level of health or physical ability. Through disciplines like yoga therapy, Yin Yoga, restorative yoga, and Yoga Nidra, yoga can be adapted to anyone. With this in mind, I work to make all of my classes adaptive, accepting, and welcoming to all students.
